January 29, 2014 Dear 1st Grade Parents,
I am writing to give you the details for the 1st grade program next month. Because the program date is February 13th we decided the theme would be “Love.” The first grade teachers and I have been talking with the students about what love means, why we love, and how we show each other love. They will sing a few songs and dedicate them to you. We hope that you will join us for our celebration of love. Here are the details:
• Date of the program: Thursday, February 13th 2014 • What time? 6:30 p.m. • Where? In the WHE gym • What do the students need to wear? Students should wear red, pink, or white clothing. Girls can wear a red, pink, or white dress or nice pant and a red, pink, or white top. Boys should wear a red, pink, or white shirt with nice pants. Jeans are fine, but no holes please. • Do students have to be there? YES! We have been working on this program for a month in music class and I would like all student to show you their hard work.
